Let´s start with what IS NOT CROSSFIT:

For us it´s not another remedy to get fit, not another class that is given in a conventional gym alongside other group classes and above all, it´s not a training method that can be used by any coach who has not lived crossfit correctly.
Because crossfit is not any exercise combined with others forming a circuit, is not any functional exercise, is not cardio, is not getting big, and is not injure yourself by lifting weights.

For us CROSSFIT IS:

For everyone. No limit. From elite athletes to our grandmother can and should improve their fitness.

Increase your work capacity. You’ll be stronger, faster and tougher for any task at any time.

Adapting your body to stress. You will suffer a significant decrease in body fat and increase muscle mass. You won’t get bigger, you will become stronger.

Body control. We consider flexibility, coordination, agility, balance, accuracy and movement technique are essential. Endurance, strength, power and speed come with time.

Exercise progressions. 80% of the exercises we use are technically complicated, not just watch and do. To learn them we use progressions. A progression is to simplify a move in several steps before doing the original one. Sometimes everyone needs a personalized progression according the weaknesses. The coach must be able to locate that weakness and apply the appropriate progression.

Constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement.

Crossfit is functional because our exercises prepare you to perform successfully any task of real life everyday with skill and easiness.

Training at high intensity produces more benefits than done at a moderate or low intensity.

Everyday life surprises us with unexpected physical challenges, to always be prepared we need to train the same way.

Wod

(Workout of the day). Each day there is a different training sesion that prepares you for various and random physical challenges. The Wod is done by people with different levels together but each at their own pace and possibilities.

Social phenomenon.

A “box” (crossfit gym) has no mirrors or people shinning nice outfit. It has people of all kinds and styles that come to have fun, train and receive you with open arms as a training partner.
